Available Materials & Performance Overview
Hastelloy® X Filters
Hastelloy X is a nickel-based superalloy widely used for high-temperature gas filtration and applications requiring excellent mechanical strength at elevated temperatures.
Typical maximum operating temperature: up to 900°C (short-term exposure higher depending on atmosphere)
Corrosion resistance:
Excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization
Good resistance to sulfidation in high-temperature environments
Key advantages:
Maintains mechanical strength under thermal cycling
Suitable for high-temperature process gases and hot dust filtration
Typical applications:
Hot gas filtration
Refinery and petrochemical off-gas systems
Catalyst protection at elevated temperatures
Hastelloy® C-276 Filters
Hastelloy C-276 is a corrosion-resistant nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy, recognized for its outstanding performance in highly aggressive chemical environments.
Typical maximum operating temperature: up to 450–550°C (corrosion environment dependent)
Corrosion resistance:
Exceptional resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion
Excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking
Highly resistant to acids such as hydrochloric, sulfuric, and phosphoric acids
Key advantages:
One of the most corrosion-resistant alloys available
Excellent performance in wet, acidic, and chloride-containing media
Typical applications:
Chemical processing and reactors
Acidic gas and liquid filtration
Catalyst recovery and protection in corrosive systems
Other Nickel-Based Alloy Filters (Inconel®, Monel®, Equivalent Grades)
We also supply filter elements manufactured from other nickel-based alloys based on specific project requirements.
Typical maximum operating temperature:
600–1000°C (grade dependent)
Corrosion resistance:
Good to excellent resistance to oxidation, high-temperature corrosion, and selected chemical media
Key advantages:
Balanced performance between temperature resistance and corrosion resistance
Material selection optimized according to process conditions
Typical applications:
High-temperature gas filtration
Hydrogen, syngas, and process gas purification
Specialized petrochemical processes
Quartz (Fused Silica) Filters
Quartz (fused silica) filters are non-metallic filtration solutions designed for ultra-high temperature and chemically inert environments, where metallic materials may react or degrade.
Corrosion resistance:
Excellent chemical inertness
Resistant to most acids and chemical vapors (except hydrofluoric acid)
Key advantages:
No metal contamination
Extremely stable at high temperatures
Suitable for ultra-clean or reactive processes
Typical applications:
High-temperature gas filtration
Semiconductor and specialty chemical processes
Applications requiring metal-free filtration
Manufacturing & Filtration Capabilities
Sintered metal powder structures
Sintered metal fiber or multilayer composite structures
High-temperature vacuum sintering
Precision machining and post-sintering finishing
Alloy-compatible welding processes
Customization & Engineering Support
All Special Alloy & Advanced Material Filters are custom-designed according to:
Operating temperature and pressure
Chemical composition of the process media
Required filtration efficiency
Mechanical load and installation constraints
Our engineering team supports material selection and structural optimization to ensure safe and reliable operation throughout the service life.
Actual operating limits depend on process atmosphere, pressure, thermal cycling, and media composition. Final material selection shall be confirmed based on detailed process conditions.
