Wedge wire screens—commonly known as Johnson Screens—are manufactured by winding V-shaped (wedge-shaped) wire around support rods, then welding them together to form a rigid and precise continuous-slot structure.

This unique profile ensures exceptional mechanical strength, excellent anti-clogging performance, uniform slot openings, and highly efficient flow distribution.

Wedge wire screens are widely used in demanding solid–liquid and solid–gas separation processes, particularly where reliability, durability, and high flow capacity are required.

They provide stable operation in corrosive media, high-pressure environments, and continuous-duty filtration or screening systems.
